Krista asked about my spiral flower. I contacted the gal that taught the class I went to. She contacted me last night and told me they are called slide mounts. She purchased them from Quick Quotes. They are 5/$1.00 and can be ordered online from http://www.shopquickquotes.com. (This link will take you to the mounts.) They also come in square, so just be sure you order the ones you looking for.
We took a piece of ribbon - a strip of material could also be used - and wrapped it around the slide mount. Very easy to make and evidently from all the comments sharp/nice looking.
Quick Quotes has PowderPuff Chalking Inks. I used some in class and really liked it. I am gonna have to make a trip to Tulsa (the closest store to me) and buy some or purchase them online.
Less than a week of school left. I can't wait. I get to start do much more crafting!!!

Well thank you. I love all flowers. Thanks for answering the question about the "spiral thingy." The way you explained it reminds of the pom pom animals we made as kids. I will check the website. I could probably make my own "rings" (we did as kids).
