April Showers Blog Hop!

Welcome to the April Showers Blog Hop! If you have just stumbled across my blog and would like to start at the beginning, visit Kathryn at Creations With Kathryn. If you arrived from That'z Uneek you are in the right spot. And guess what?!?!?!?! I am the last stop today. You will need to stop by Kathryn's one more time, but that will be no problem. Now this is a 2 day hop, so I expect to see everyone back again tomorrow.

The theme for this blog hop is April Showers. So far this month has been nice and dry here and I really hope it stays that way - especially this weekend, mom and I are in a craft show. A young lady at from our church is pregnant. A friend was making a diaper cake for her baby shower. I was asked to make something too. I made a couple of "Baby Cupcakes".

Recipe
2 Baby Wash Cloths
2 Pink PomPoms
Cupcake Wrappers cut at 6" from Cupcake Wrappers cartridge.
Toppers are from Cupcake Wrappers too, but I don't remember at what size they were cut. They are glued to toothpicks.
The paper I used was scraps someone had given me.

This is what I gave the mother-to-be.
Now, I did not make the binder clip. I was in a RAK/SWAP in February/March. The binder clip was one I received in the swap. I thought it was cute and knew it would make a nice gift.

Well, I hope your April has started off to a nicely. Look forward to seeing you tomorrow. You need to head back over to Creations With Kathryn.

Until next time ~ VinDeeLoo

I might be hosting a baby shower this summer, so this would be a cute idea. I could even put the washcloth cupcakes on the tables as decoration, and then the Mom-to-be can take them home to use!

I thought the first one was a real cupcake until I saw the recipe! The cupcake wrappers that are on the Cricut cartridges are so neat! I will actually have to try one out!

Adorable cupcakes. I made these for party favors for my daughters 13th birthday last year using the fuzzy socks. The girls just loved them. You did a great job with the wash clothes.
